Trout in the Classroom fish tank

Trout in the Classroom (TIC)

Trout in the Classroom (TIC) is a conservation-oriented, environmental education STEM program placed in schools and supported by Trout Unlimited and Rocky Mountain Flycasters. A 50-gallon tank with 200 rainbow trout eggs are installed, with eggs hatched and nurtured through growth and tested for pathogens before final release into area waters. Students learn about trout biology, habitat and the need for adequate supply of clean oxygenated cold water to successfully maintain these fish.
