Successful Completion Fall 2023 Stream Temperature Data Retrieval Campaign

Rocky Mountain Flycasters (RMF) volunteers this Fall have successfully completed data retrieval from 20 temperature sensor sites on small tributaries of the Poudre River. These data will be delivered to the US Forest Service in support of greenback cutthroat trout restoration.

I want to thank all the volunteers who visited sensor sites to retrieve data this Fall. Special thanks go out to the new volunteers, like Don Gilmore in the photo above, who were able to visit sites and be trained on sensor installation, maintenance and data retrieval. Thankfully, I think this year we visited sites early enough that no volunteers had to break through ice to retrieve data!
