Rocky Mountain Flycasters’ Chapter Awards
Since 1983, Rocky Mountain Flycasters has led the effort in Northern Colorado to conserve, protect and restore cold water resources in the Poudre and Big Thompson watersheds.
Over our years as a Trout Unlimited chapter the Rocky Mountain Flycasters’ chapter and our members have been recognized for many awards. Below is a small list those awards.

River Champion Conservation Leadership
For decades, retired US Fish and Wildlife Service biologist Chris Kennedy has been a leader in restoring Colorado’s state fish, the greenback cutthroat trout. Chris has spearheaded research and conservation projects in and around Rocky Mountain National Park.

Rick’s decades of experience with CPW, the Forest Service, and the National Park Service helped strengthen collaboration on the Poudre Headwaters Project, Colorado’s largest native trout recovery effort.
