This fly is very hard to see on the water, so I usually get some flotant on it and fish it as a dropper 18” behind another dry of the day. Then don’t pay any attention to it – fish the lead dry fly you can see. When you lift your flies from the water and get surprised by a fish on the ant (and you will, believe me) it’s like Free Fish.
