If a trout is inclined to eat, there is something about purple that gets attention. This fly is a Adams Parachute with a purple paint job, so you get the added value of an imitative profile to go with the attractor color. The use of spandex for a smooth but segmented abdomen makes for a sharp looking fly, and eliminates a dubbing step!
