August 19 - Stream Monitoring Volunteer Training Field Day

To prepare for the fall 2023 stream temperature data retrieval campaign, we will hold a Volunteer Training Field Day on the morning of Saturday, August 19. The intent is to train new volunteers in data retrieval as well as temperature sensor installation and maintenance. Experienced volunteers are welcome to attend and share their experiences. We also plan to visit the pilot water quality station on Bennett Creek to familiarize everyone with equipment.

We will meet to carpool as there is limited parking at the Field Day site. Meet at 8 AM Saturday,

August 19 at the northwest corner of the King Soopers Parking Lot on North College in Fort

Collins. We plan to finish the Field Day prior to 11 AM so that volunteers who desire to can attend the RMFTU Summer Picnic at the Mishawaka from 11 AM to 2:00 PM. Email Phil Wright with questions and sign up for the Field Day below:
