Technical Tailwaters Class

Our Technical Tailwaters class will help you to unlock the key to catching more fish and bigger fish across our state's technical tailwaters. From the Grey Reef to the Frying Pan to the Yampa below Stagecoach, our local and regional tailwaters provide an opportunity to catch some of the West’s biggest fish and come winter, provide some of the only fishing opportunities across the region. Since these fish are infamously picky and difficult to fool, our class will help you crack the code! Regardless of the size of the tailwater, they all share similarities and keying in on these can add to your success next time you’re on the water. We will cover everything from bug selection and rigs, to techniques used to catch these fish and you will leave more equipped to take advantage of your next day on a tailwater.
