This month’s speaker is

Jeff Stahla, Northern Water

Jeff Stahla is the Public Information Officer at Northern Water, where he has served for six years after a long tenure as editor of the Loveland Reporter-Herald. He is a native of Greeley and a graduate of Colorado State University in Fort Collins. He will talk about the current status of the Northern Integrated Supply Project and the challenges of regional water supplies and river health. Jeff will bring us up to date on Northern Water projects, to include the latest on the effort to build Glade Reservoir. Once built, the reservoir will flood about 7 miles of Hwy 287 just north of Ted’s Place, requiring that stretch of highway to be relocated to the east. It will also improve stream flows through Ft Collins in late summer and during the winter, when Poudre flows can be extremely low.

We will also have a hybrid meeting format this month

We will also have a hybrid meeting format this month so you can attend online if you are unable to attend in-person. You can join us virtually via this zoom link:
