Our Chapter Gathering in April – Join us in-person or virtually!

At our membership gatherings this year we plan to take some time for our newer members to meet other chapter members. And hopefully start developing new friendships and meeting new fishing firends. Join us at 6:30 for socializing, the gathering kicks off at 7. I hope you will be there!

Our speaker for the Gathering will be Dr. Will Clements. He will discuss results from several large-scale restoration projects conducted in mining-polluted watersheds that measured responses of aquatic insects and brown trout to improvements in water quality and habitat. Results demonstrated that habitat restoration significantly increased brown trout populations, but had surprisingly little effect on aquatic insects, which responded primarily to improved water quality. Explanations for these differences will be discussed.
