This meeting will be at the Fort Collins Senior Center in Prairie Sage 1

As part of the November 19th Membership Event, Rocky Mountain Flycasters will hold a very short Business Meeting with the sole purpose of electing Chapter members to the Board of Directors. 

The slate of candidates nominated by the Leadership Development and Nominations Committee is:

Officers:

President:  Don Gilmore, one year term

Vice President:  Lynn Williams, one year term

Treasurer: Frank Reid, one year term

Secretary: Susanne Cordery, one year term

Director at Large: Phil Bender three year term

Continuing as Directors at Large are:

Tom Schulz, one year remaining of a three year term

Padyn Knapp, two years remaining of a three year term

Nominations may also be made from the floor before the election.

At our membership meetings this Fall/Winter we plan to take some time for our newer members to meet other chapter members. And hopefully start developing new friendships and meeting new fishing friends. Join us at 6:30 for socializing, the meeting kicks off at 7:00. We hope you will be there!

Connor Murphy, Fisheries Biologist

“Tips and Tricks to Catch More Trout”

Connor Murphy is a Fort Collins native and life-long angler. Connor currently works full-time as a fisheries biologist for FlyWater inc., a local river restoration firm, but has been working in the fly fishing industry in some capacity since the age of 14. Connor has guided in Colorado, Alaska, Wyoming and Utah over the course of his career and continues to guide and teach at St. Petes to this day. Fly fishing in general has been an all consuming passion for Connor for decades and no facet of the sport has he spent more time studying and refining than technical trout fishing.

Among other great prizes, this month's drawing will feature an Echo 10' 5 wt. rod, Reddington Zero reel, and Simms wading staff.
