Social Fly Tying for Members of Rocky Mountain Flycasters

Rocky Mountain Flycasters members will gather at 1:00 pm the first day of the year for this special edition of Pub ‘N’ Dub at the Gilded Goat. Each sponsored session features a different fly to tie.

RMF will provide material kits to tie a handful of these flies. Some members come and simply enjoy the company of others while tying. If you are a beginner, or need to come straight from work, we will have loaner tools and equipment available. Marty Staab will be hosting this event, so please contact Marty to RSVP so we can ensure sufficient materials. You can find the video and list of materials at Marty’s Bench on YouTube. For the New Year’s Resolution theme, Marty is donating a bottle of fly line cleaner, and we will have a cleaning station with rags and towels, and a contest to see who gets the most dirt off their fly line! We hope to see a lot of you at the Gilded Goat Brewing Company, 3500 South College, right next to Trader Joe’s January 1, 2019 from 1 pm to 3 pm.
